Kirk Franklin Wins His 18th GMA Dove Awards Of His Career

Kirk Franklin's Fo Yo Soul Recordings and RCA Records dominated the gospel categories, marking his 18th Dove Award of his career with two wins for “Gospel Artist of The Year” and “Contemporary Gospel Album of The Year” for LOSING MY RELIGION.

Travis Greene’s had a memorable night when he clinched his first Dove Awards. Nominated for three awards including the coveted “Best New Artist” category, Greene also co-hosted the pre-telecast with singer Blanca and performed his chart-topping single “Intentional” on the awards show.

Donnie McClurkin, Donald Lawrence and Le’Andria Johnson also had their own share of the show.
